Smoke from a big brush fire resulted in the shutdown of US 441 in Osceola County overnight. All lanes of the highway had to be closed in both directions from South Canoe Creek Road to State Road 60, and the Florida Highway Patrol said the smoke was lingering by the Florida Turnpike, near mile marker 200, also in Osceola County… although the Turnpike at last report, remained open.
