Hurricane Season is approaching. It officially begins on June 1st. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration released its 2022 hurricane season outlook on Tuesday, and once again this year, forecasters are predicting an above-average season with a high probability… at about a 70 percent chance… that 14-21 named storms will form, of which 6-10 will become hurricanes and 3-6 will become major hurricanes. The latest report is the 7th year on a row that an above average season has been predicted. Hurricane season starts June 1st and runs through November 1st.
