A man who was in charge of a string of Central Florida extended pediatric care facilities has been accused of Medicaid fraud. 53 year old Carlos Cabrera is accused of stealing thousands of dollars from the program. Investigators say Cabrera acted as an administrator at Angels on Earth PPEC. He was arrested Wednesday amid accusations of submitting false claims and overbilling patients. The organization has locations in Orlando, Haines City, Lakeland, and here in Brevard County… in Melbourne. They provide pediatric day care, skilled nurses, and medical transport for special needs children.
