3D success!

After several earlier attempts that didn’t go so well, Relativity Space was finally able to launch the world’s first 3D-printed rocket late last night frim Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. If you were up and saw it, the sight was something never seen before…. a streak of blue flames because of the rocket’s methane fueled engines. The 110-foot taoo Terran 1 rocket took off from Launch Complex 16 at 11:25pm Wednesday. While the second stage didn’t make it to orbit due to what engineers say appears to be a loss of velocity, they say the mission overall exceeded its objectives.
