another launch planned

SpaceX plans another launch later today… right around sunset… the company’s second launch in just four days. A Falcon 9 is scheduled lift off from Launch Complex 40 at the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station this evening in a launch window that opens at 7:28pm and closes at 8:26, but winds around the cape at that time could be an issue according to forecasters. They give it a 70% chance of taking off. If it does go up as planned, minutes after liftoff the first stage will separate, and the booster will return to make another landing on a drone ship in the Atlantic Ocean. On Monday, Relativity Space is now targeting another attempt… its third… to launch the world’s first 3D-printed rocket, Terran 1, from the Cape’s Launch Complex 16. That launch is now expected to be sometime between 1 and 4pm on Monday.
