A Cocoa Beach man was arrested Thursday, and now is charged with attempted murder and sexual battery after attacking a victim for hours. 21 year old Isaiah Burrows was taken into custody yesterday, after Cocoa Beach police say they learned that he held someone against their will inside a home on South Orlando Avenue there, where he beat, strangled, and sexually battering them. Police say when the victim tried to escape, they were forced back inside the house. After some time, the victim was able to finally break free, and that’s when police were called. Burrows is now behind bars in the Brevard County Jail, where he is being held without bond.
