Spill At Port Canaveral

About 200 gallons of iron sulfate were spilled at Port Canaveral Thursday afternoon. According to a statement released by the Canaveral Port Authority, the spill happened on the dock at South Cargo Berth 3 yesterday afternoon around 3. They also say the spill has been contained and does not present a hazard to the public. Port Canaveral Environmental and the U.S. Coast Guard are working on efforts to clear it up soon. As to just what caused the spill, no details have yet been released. Nobody was hurt.
