An old marina on Turkey Creek in Palm Bay could see a re-birth complete with new and expanded docking and an entertainment area if plans by some potential developers are approved. Those developers have filed public notice of their application for a federal permit. So far, the plans include more dry dock boat storage, some restaurant and retail shops, and a lot more that will also mean more than 300 new jobs. Space Coast Marinas LLC. has applied for a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers permit to expand Pelican Harbor Marina along US-1 in Palm Bay on Turkey Creek, a tributary to the Indian River Lagoon.
