An accident in Edgewater Monday afternoon involved a teenager and a train. Police say it happened yesterday around 4pm, whe 14 year old Heleyna Showalter was walking along the train tracks and a train traveling in the same direction struck her from behind. Showalter was pushed into a wooded area, where police eventually were able to find her. She was airlifted to Halifax Medical Center. At last report, she was in critical condition. The investigation continues today.
