Drunk Naked Man Arrested Following Crash

In Volusia County, a man was arrested after he crashed a vehicle into a utility pole and then showed up at someone else’s home… naked. Volusia County Deputies said a pickup truck completely severed a utility pole, and when they arrived, the driver wasn’t there. But less than an hour later, deputies responded to a call from home about a burglary. The homeowner said a naked man was banging on the door. 39-year-old Kevin Gardner of Deltona was that man, and he had injuries on his face and legs. Turns out, he also was the owner of the crashed truck. A breath test revealed that Gardner’s blood-alcohol content was a bit higher than the legal limit too. Gardner was later arrested. He now faces charges including burglary, indecent exposure, criminal mischief, resisting an officer without violence, leaving the scene of a crash, DUI and three counts of DUI with property damage. He was locked up behind bars with bond set at $14,000.
