A big honor for the Brevard Zoo… Our local zoo has been voted the No. 3 zoo in all of North America, and the top zoo in Florida, in USA Today’s 10 Best Reader’s Choice awards. This year marks the fourth year that the Brevard Zoo was nominated as one of the best zoos in North America. It’s the first year the zoo has placed in the top three. According to voters, the immersive habitats, one-of-a-kind animal experiences, and a commitment to local wildlife along with wildlife from around the globe, more than makes up for the Space Coast zoo’s somewhat smaller size. Another honor includes an award goes to the Kayaking Experience at the Brevard Zoo, which was voted the number 7 zoo exhibit in North America.
