SpaceX Does It Again

Another success for SpaceX! Last night, a Falcon 9 rocket took off from the Kennedy Space Center, carrying a Dragon capsule loaded with cargo destined for the International Space Station. The flight was right on time… 8:30pm… from launch pad 39A and it marked the second such mission to the ISS so far this month, and the 27th cargo resupply mission by SpaceX for NASA. On board the rocket last night, was more than 3 tons of science materials, fresh food and supplies. It is scheduled to dock with the space station at 7:52am Thursday. Then it will stay there for about a month. Minutes after last night’s successful launch, the Falcon 9 first stage booster returned for another perfect landing on a SpaceX drone ship in the Atlantic Ocean. There could possibly be two more launches from the Space Coast before the end of this week.
