After a hardware glitch forced NASA and SpaceX to scrub the launch of the Crew-6 spacecraft with three astronauts and a cosmonaut early Monday, another attempt will be made later this week. Now, the next opportunity to launch opens at 12:34am on Thursday. Forecasters with the Space Force say that so far, it looks like the weather at liftoff for that attempt should be about 90% “go.” However, conditions downrange in the Atlantic Ocean, which is a critical factor in any crewed mission, were listed as “moderate risk.” After the launch does happen… whenever that is… the astronauts will spend about a day traveling to the International Space Station, and when they get there, they will remain there for about the next six months.
