A weekend drowning off the coast of Brevard County has claimed the life of a teenage boy. Indiatlantic Police say the 17-year old drowned in the ocean near West Crest boardwalk. Police say the boy’s body was located and recovered, with help from the Indialantic Fire Department, a Brevard County Sheriff’s Office helicopter, Brevard County lifeguards and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission. The victim’s name and other details have not yet been released.
