The Executive Director of Keep Brevard Beautiful, Bryan Bobbitt, has filed the necessary paperwork to run as a Democrat for the District 1 County Commission seat. Bobbitt now joins two others who have announced intentions to run for the seat that will become available in 2024. Dwight Seigler, a Mims community activist, and Robert Jordan, former Titusville City Council member, have each filed to run as Republicans. District 1 includes most of northern Brevard County, including Port St. John, Titusville, Mims and Scottsmoor, plus a part of Cocoa.
