Florida Representative Randy Fine of Palm Bay, has announced that he intends to run for the Florida State Senate in 2024. Fine… a Republican… announced his plans Thursday to seek the position now held by incumbent District 19 Senator Debbie Mayfield, who can’t run again because of term limits. Fine currently represents the new District 33, which includes Malabar, West Melbourne, Melbourne Beach, parts of Melbourne and most of Palm Bay. Fine too is dealing with term limits. Last year, he was elected to his fourth and final two-year term in the House, and he is barred from seeking reelection to the House in 2024 because of term limits.
