A man stole a big truck on Tuesday… a tractor without a trailer… in Orlando, and then held law enforcement at bay for hours at a VA Hospital. It all began in Lake County just before 6:30 last evening, where the sheriff’s office got a call saying that a man stole the big truck, and then hit several vehicles in Lake County before he headed off to Orange County. A sheriff’s helicopter followed the truck until it parked at the entrance gate of the VA Hospital in Orlando, where 45 year old Edward Dial of Citrus Spring began to make obscene gestures at the deputies, who after several hours, were finally able to arrest him after using a chemical agent to get him out of the truck. Dial is facing a string of charges. Nobody was hurt.
