A registered sex offender who already has a record of being arrested multiple times for impersonating law enforcement officers, was arrested again Tuesday. Osceola County Deputies took 41 year old Jeremy Dewitte into custody for violation of probation on an Orange County warrant. The sheriff’s office now says that in addition to the charges he faces in Orange County, Dewitte will face more charges in Osceola County for refusing to cooperate and violating further terms of his probation. Back in 2019, Dewitte was arrested while impersonating an officer. He was directing traffic for a funeral procession when he reached for his gun during a fight with a real deputy. That arrest was actually the third time Dewitte was accused of the same crime. Then in March 2021, Dewitte was arrested again… his fourth such arrest… during a traffic stop when deputies said he was dressed as a police officer while riding on a motorcycle and carrying a weapon.
