SpaceX Saturday Launch Successful

SpaceX did it again over the weekend… A Falcon 9 rocket loaded with supplies for the International Space Station took off from the Kennedy Space Center right on schedule Saturday afternoon at 2:20 from launch pad 39A. The flight had been delayed earlier last week due to poor weather. Minutes after the launch, the first stage booster did a flip and returned for another successful landing on the drone ship in the Atlantic Ocean. It’s now on its way back to Port Canaveral where it will be refurbished for reuse on a future mission. The next flight from here on the Space Coast is now scheduled for 3:30am Wednesday, when another Falcon 9 will take off from pad 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station on a mission for a Japanese lunar exploration company.
