SpaceX Now Eying Tuesday For Falcon Heavy Launch

SpaceX has pushed back the date of the next launch of its Falcon Heavy rocket. The massive rocket was lifted upright on launch pad 39A at the Kennedy Space Center Wednesday night, and the first launch of a SpaceX Falcon Heavy in three years was set for this coming Monday morning, October 31st. It’s been pushed back a day now, to Tuesday, November 1st at 9:40am. A Falcon Heavy is… to simplify a bit… three Falcon 9 rockets strapped together. After liftoff, two of the boosters will return to earth, and land at the landing zone on the cape, creating massive sonic booms across the Space Coast. The third booster will continue on, and be used to place the satellites in the cargo bay into orbit. The rocket is noisy. It uses 28 Merlin engines.
