Flooding Along St. Johns River Continues

Hurricane Ian may be in the rear view mirror now, but more Central Floridians are now expected to have to evacuate along the St. Johns River as floodwaters continue to rise. In fact, things are expected to get worse in the coming days for people in parts of Seminole County where the St. Johns River is expected to get even higher. The good news for some is that flooding in Geneva started to level off on Monday, and Lake Harney may have crested. Still, those living in low lying areas are being urged to evacuate in advance during daylight hours to keep both themselves and first responders safe.
