Brevard County officially now has a new Supervisor of Elections. Tim Bobanic was sworn in Monday afternoon in the Brevard County Commission Chambers at the Viera Government Center. Governor Ron DeSantis announced the appointment of Bobanic on September 20, with the appointment being effective October 1st. Bobanic has served as the Director of Information Technology and Election Services with the Brevard County Supervisor of Elections for more than nine years, and before that he worked for four years as the Director of Information Technology for the Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections. He fills the position that was vacated by the resignation of former Brevard County Supervisor of Elections Lori Scott.
