Waste Management plans to resume trash collection in Brevard County today for residential customers. If you have carted garbage, recycling material, or containerized yard waste, have it out in the usual location by the usual time… although schedules may vary today depending upon road conditions. All collections were called off Thursday, and many were not made on Wednesday because of Hurricane Ian. Normal Saturday residential customers will be serviced on Saturday, and Waste Management will attempt Saturday morning to service any Friday residential customers who were unable to be serviced today. Bulk waste and loose large yard waste piles will not be collected until otherwise notified. If your recycling was not picked up on Wednesday, it will be picked up next Wednesday, October 5th.
