Brevard To Have Very Close Brush With Ian

The center of Ian is now expected to pass over Central Florida tonight and Thursday morning, then head out into the Atlantic Ocean tomorrow. The latest forecast calls for Brevard County to take a much closer brush with Ian than originally thought… with the eye of the storm passing just north of us. There is now a Tropical Storm Warning for all of Brevard County, meaning we can expect sustained winds today and tomorrow of between 40 and 50 miles per hour, with gusts up to 60 miles per hour or so. We are also expected to get somewhere between 5 and 10 inches of rain from the storm.
